My name is Gabriel Radu Arnautu. I’ve played guitar since 1990. I write my own songs and collaborate with artists from different countries and musical backgrounds.
I like listening to music, ranging from jazz to electronic, from hip hop to metal.
I greatly enjoy playing live, and I always allow myself some distinct spaces in my songs where I can improvise; that is why my shows will be unique every time.
I am not a perfectionist. I made a lot of mistakes, so I was forced to rely on my ability to improvise, in order to transform my sometimes inaccurate guitar play into euphonical and coherent sense.
I use the computer in my creative processes, while recording or during live gigs, and I try to mix the predictable series of 0s and 1s with a random musical function – me, with the inherent imperfections of an average human being.
